Lake Training: We are at the lake training every Sunday until the 21st September should you wish to join us. Any non members, who wish to bring their dog should contact us via the "contact us" link to find out more information. Please note, the training is for Newfoundlands and similar breeds only. We are not a general dog swimming club and therefore have to restrict other breeds from joining us. We start at 13.00 and will probably finish at about 16.00. If the weather is unpleasant (and believe me we have had a lot of that this summer) and we don't have many dogs we can finish as early as 14.00, so its advisable to turn up no later than 13.45 to ensure your dog has the opportunity to work in the water. If anyone is interested in becoming a steward, please speak to Ronnie, Jane or Gill. Please remember to bring change of clothing, warm clothes, hot drinks & nibbles. If you own a wet suit please bring it along! The water park is a "no dog" park, however they make the exception for our training group. Because of this we ask our visitors to confine the walking of your dogs to around the car park. Please do not wander off out of this area as we are liable to receive complaints from the owners and fishermen.
